It is factory assembled and includes a molded plug with polarized prongs for added safety, a matching rotary wheel switch and a high quality socket with snap-in clips that fit a 1" hole. The socket has a metal lining which resist corrosion and can accommodate up to a 40 watt candelabra base bulb. The cord exits from the bottom of the socket and the switch is located approximately 18" from the socket. The individual parts in this set are all U.L. listed.
